Girl Scouts - Live Healthy, Lead Healthy

The Thin Mint Sprint 5K Run/Walk is one way Girl Scouts provides healthy living opportunities to the community.  For nearly 100 years, Girl Scouts has offered innovative programs in sports, nutrition and health.  More than 60 badges, patches and charms encourage girsl to engage in a wide range of activities that teach them about developing healthy everyday habits, from the importance of exercise and sleep, to good hygiene and eating habits, to learning about diseases like breast cancer.

All proceeds from the 2010 Thin Mint Sprint 5K Run/Walk will go to support financial assistance for girls who cannot afford Girl Scouting, including summer camp scholarships, assistance with membership fees and troop programs, materials and supplies.
